Department the intern will be working	Supply Chain Management, Op Research
Job Description1	The Trainee at Baxter Planning Systems will be trained in the use of our comprehensive supply chain planning software while learning the operations and flow of the supply chain management industry.
Job Description2	The Trainee will configure forecasting systems, model optimal target stock levels, and approve supply orders.
Job Description3	The Trainee will also analyze performance issues and define corrective action plans, and build complex automated demand-supply networks.
Job Description4	The Trainee will work in an office setting with a diverse group of highly skilled, energetic employees.
Job Description5	The Trainee will be prompt and professional, maintain effective communication, keep a positive attitude, diligence, and the ability to work with teams.

Measurable results expected from the intern	The Trainee will be measured by his/her ability to achieve service level goals when forecasting demand, optimizing target stock levels, and executing supply orders. In addition, the trainee's leader and other colleagues will provide extensive feedback concerning community integration, technical proficiency, and communication skills.
Preparation required from the intern before arrival	Knowledgable in Supply Chain Management Analysis.

Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship	The trainee must have, at minimum, a Bachelor's degree. Experience in Supply Chain Management is necessary.
