Why do we need you?
This resource will assist in the implementation and support of various new systems and projects. Their main focus will be the deployment and support of iterations of existing and new sales-facing systems. This person will work closely with YP’s internal ITs teams and business primes to help deploy and support system solutions that enable the organization to improve sales efficiencies, improve customer experience, and accelerate the success of the organization as a leading provider in the digital media landscape. In this role, knowledge of the system development life cycle, a quick understanding of business issues and data challenges, analytical, problem solving, superior organizational and communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Liaise regularly with senior project stakeholders, business representatives/product owners, change management and IT project team members (located throughout Canada and the U.S.)
- Carry out data queries and analysis
- Carry out administration and configuration of Salesforce.com where required
- Carry out new software deployments
What will you do?
- Maintain and support existing CRM applications (SalesForce and Siebel) by troubleshooting system problems and monitor apps performance
- Resolve production incident requests through troubleshooting and investigation. Escalate if necessary. Apply fixes or workarounds as appropriate.
- Required to be on call (pager support), for a week and recurring once every 5-6 weeks with the aim of deploying software releases
- Apply analytical skills, problem-solving and technical expertise to root cause analysis and resolution.

What are we looking for?
- A University degree or comparable education (Computer/Information Science and/or related experience)
- 5+ years’ experience in IT related to Application Support and CRM experience (SalesForce and if possible Siebel)
- Experience with SalesForce and Siebel
- Software deployments, upgrades and patching
- Unix knowledge
- Java and PHP knowledge are a plus.
- Experience with integrations between Salesforce.com and other platforms and technologies
- Experience with enterprise CRMs
- Strong functional analysis skills
- Ability to learn new domains and new technologies
- Ability to explain and contextualize business concepts for technical audiences
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong ability to quickly adapt
- Must be self-motivated, organized, thorough, and detail-oriented.
- Must display commitment to teamwork and excellent customer service. Meet or exceed expectations of internal and external customers
- Ability to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Excellent ability in English (written and spoken)
- Fluency in French is an asset
