IT Director (Infrastructure Cloud)
IT Director (Infrastructure Cloud). A Leading Global Software vendor is looking for someone to lead the development and ongoing support of Infrastructure operations across their business.
The ideal IT Director (Infrastructure Cloud) candidate will have very strong Infrastructure background and be looking to work in a more strategic role. The key to this position is understanding how strategic infrastructure change can benefit business – this will probably come from hands on design, delivery and team leadership. This can be anything from implementation through to internal efficiency – modernisation, consolidation, platform transformation and support. Experience around BAU delivery, Data Centre rationalisation/ transformation, platform migration, technical refresh and especially cloud experience is of interest. Basically a well rounded consultant who is ready to undertake leadership. Given the growing nature of the organisation there is exceptional potential to grow in the role and potential to progress to CTO. Experience team leading is a big plus as this role will initially have 10 + reports.
