This is an exciting opportunity for a delivery focused IT Director to lead, shape and deliver substantive IT improvement and IT enabled transformation within this leading provider of Social Housing. A visible, engaging and business facing leader, the IT Director will drive and deliver a successful IT improvement strategy; getting IT ‘fit’ to support wider business transformation and innovation.

With strong Board sponsorship the organisation understands the value of improved IT services in supporting the improved provision of services delivering improved services to residents.
The Role:
- Provide strong, business facing IT systems leadership, delivering strong IT improvement and enhancement. Take a lead role in the delivery of major business systems projects & IT operations in complex stakeholder environment.
- As a senior manager and a key decision maker, the IT Director will lead the operational delivery and evolution of a new IT strategy; simplifying, standardising & consolidating a legacy IT estate.
- Operate as a trusted partner to the business, proactively identifying opportunities to support the improvement of service delivery to customers through improved IT projects & IT services.
The Candidate:
- A proven, hands-on IT leader you will have strong interpersonal skills. Experience gained supporting the delivery of highly distributed services is highly advantageous. Social housing experience is not essential.
- You will have proven experience in driving improvement to IT operations, managing and working alongside internal business stakeholders and external service partners, in the delivery of measurable value from key business systems.
- A solid technical pedigree, and customer focused mindset, will support the successful delivery of complex business critical IT services. The ability to inspire, mentor, develop and drive your team to improved performance is crucial.
